"I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed nothing will be impossible for you."

Ms. Traci Zegelien and Ms. Fran Maynard (T/W/Th)

My name is Fran Maynard and I am originally from New York but lived in South Florida for most of my life. I graduated from Florida State University and earned my masters degree in Social Work from Barry University. I have been married to my husband, Paul, for 9 years. We have 3 children, Abigail (8), Paul (6), and Andrew (4) and our newest addition, Sandy a new puppy. Our family is fairly new to Tennessee, we moved here about a year and a half ago for my husbands job. This is my first year as an assistant teacher at Mustard Seed and my second here as a parent. I am excited about this school year and the opportunity I have to care for, teach, and disciple your children. Thank you for entrusting them to us. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6.

My name is Traci Zegelien and I was born and raised in Indiana, the youngest of two children. My brother Travis and I grew up on a small farm helping with chores and playing basketball. After graduating high school, I attended Bryan College in east Tennessee. Played college basketball and volleyball and earned my undergraduate degree in education and Bible. I’ve been teaching reading and language arts since 1995 working primarily in inner city schools. Before starting a family, I earned a Master’s degree in education and served as a literacy coach in Metro. I’ve been married to my husband, Paul, for 12 years, and we have a son, Lucas, who is Mustard Seed alumni and started second grade this year in Spring Hill where we live. I’m grateful to be a part of MSP staff, among authentic women of faith who are gifted in loving kids well. And I’m especially glad about returning to the Fives teaching team, beginning my fourth year. I hope to stretch my students academically and encourage them as they grow in the Lord.

I have been teaching preschoolers for the past 11 years and have loved every minute of it. Since then I have taught preschool and homeschooled Jessica and Tucker from elementary through high school. I feel very blessed to be a part of MSP this year and I am looking forward to teaching and loving on your children. I know what gifts they are to each of you and I can’t wait to get to know them !

Ms. Delyn Redmond and Ms. Gay McGee (T/W/Th/F)

I’m Delyn Redmond and I was born and raised in Alabama. Living in Alabama and being the daughter of a football coach you learn early on that you must declare an allegiance. As for me and my house we say “WAR EAGLE!“, which so far this year is not an easy task. I’m married to Charley and we have 3 wonderful kids. Our oldest, Will, is in graduate school and works in football recruiting at UT. Now I have also learned to say “GO VOLS”, which is an easier task these days. Our son Quinn is a musician and is pursuing his dreams here in Nashville. We have a 15 year old daughter Carley and she is a cheerleader at CPA, “GO LIONS”. I graduated from the University of Montevallo with a BS in Education. I taught kindergarten for a number of years and have taught preschool off and on for the past 20 years. Charley works at Show Hope. They offer financial grants for families adopting, which holds a very special place in our hearts. We are members of Christ Presbyterian Church and former members of CCC. We call both churches home. I have been at MSP for 12 years and I have LOVED every minute of it! I learn so much more from my wonderful class than they ever learn from me. I love working with 5’s and our discovery time curriculum is amazing. The friends I have made and the students I have gotten to love have been a huge blessing in my life. 3 John: 4 “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children (and students) are walking in the truth.”

My name is Gay McGee. This is my second year as assistant teacher at Mustard Seed Preschool. I have four children and seven grandchildren. I live in spring Hill and attend Church of the City. I have a special love for children and was a preschool teacher for twenty years in Georgia. My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,who have been called according to his purpose.
