Ms. Shonda Johnson & Ms.Samia Awad

Shonda Johnson was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She moved to Franklin two years ago with her family, and they have all grown to love this town. She has been married to Charles for eight years, and they have two boys, Trent, who is in Kindergarten, and Gavin, who is in the three’s program at Mustard Seed. Shonda has known since she was a little girl that she wanted to be a teacher. She majored in Elementary Education and minored in Music and went on to teach fifth grade for 18 years! This is her first year teaching at Mustard Seed. Shonda loves reading, playing piano, and taking her boys on outings all over town.

My name is Samia and I love working with kids and I have three girls of my own. My oldest is in medical school in Virginia, my middle daughter lives and works in Washington D.C, and my youngest daughter is a senior at UT Chattanooga. I have been with Mustard Seed for 9 years and it is a privilege to be part of the Mustard Seed family.

Tuesday/Thursday

Ms. Beth Lindberg & Becky Phillips

My name is Beth Lindberg and I am in my 13th year of teaching 3’s at Mustard Seed. I have been married to my husband Byron for 21 years. I have a daughter, Alyce, who is 17 and a son, C.J., who is almost 15(and a 10 lb. dog named Maisy who we consider to be a member of the family). We have lived in Spring Hill, TN for 16 years now, but I grew up in Franklin!
I love teaching 3 year-olds! Some people think I am crazy, but I believe that teaching is my calling from God. I truly believe the verse that says: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14. I am so excited to meet your children and get to learn with them.

Tuesday/Thursday

This place is home and it’s a joy and honor to serve my 3 year old friends and their families.

Ms. Taylor Stone & Ms. Samia Awad

My name is Taylor Stone, my family and I just moved here from Johns Creek, Georgia in June. This is my forth year teaching 3 year olds and I absolutely love this age! I earned my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Oglethorpe and became a certified teacher but decided the preschool is a better fit for my family and me. I have a passion for children and teaching! My husband’s name is Jake and we have two precious boys- Cayson (6 years old who started 1st Grade at Pearre Creek) and Charlie (who turned 4 in June and he will be in Miss Charisa’s class). I am looking forward to an exciting year full of love, laughter, and learning! Thank you for sharing your little ones with us. We are so excited for the year ahead.
