Tues/Thurs

Tina Hicks & Lynette Broadhead

My name is Tina Hicks and I have been married to my husband Brian for 28 years. We have three sons ages 24, 19 and 16. My degree is in Early Childhood Education. God put a love of children in my heart at an early age, and I have been serving Him by working with preschoolers, on and off, for over 30 years. I joined the MSP staff two years ago as an assistant, and quickly learned what a special place this is. I am so excited to be a lead teacher again in 3’s this year.

My name is Lynette Broadhead. My husband and I have three beautiful, active boys together. We lived on the west coast until two years ago. My husband retired from the Air Force and we made our cross country move! We have never felt more at home than here in Tennessee. When I’m not cheering from the sidelines while my boys play sports I enjoy the outdoors, gardening, travel, cooking, a good book and a cup of tea. I feel so blessed to be returning to Mustard Seed for my second year. My first year students stole my heart and gifted me a new passion, teaching preschool. I’m so excited to see what God has in store for us this year.

Tues/Thurs

Beth Lindberg & Julie Kesler

My name is Beth Lindberg and I am in my 20th year of teaching 3’s at Mustard Seed. I have been married to my husband Byron for 28 years. I have a daughter, Alyce, who is 24 and a son, C.J., who is almost 22. We lived in Spring Hill, TN for 20 years, but we just moved to 5 acres in Columbia. I grew up in Franklin!
I love teaching 3 year-olds! Some people think I am crazy, but I believe that teaching is my calling from God. I truly believe the verse that says: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14. I am so excited to meet your children and get to learn with them.

My name is Julie Kesler and I am excited about starting my fourth year here as an assistant at Mustard Seed. I am also excited about returning to the fun 3’s age group. My family has been in Franklin for about nine years and we love it here. I have been married to my husband Will for 27 years and we have three children plus a recent addition of a daughter in law whom we adore. My oldest, Bennett, got married in May and is living in Charleston, SC with his new bride Cat. My daughter, Ellen, is starting her senior year at Samford University and my youngest, Walker, is a senior in high school. I’m looking forward to working with Beth and getting to know all the new kiddos coming in this year.
