Dear Parents,

Just a reminder that MSP will be closed on Tues. Nov. 8 for Election Day. The public schools are closed as well on this day. MSP will be open on Veterans Day on Fri. Nov. 11th.

We are looking forward to our all-school Thanksgiving Feasts to be held on Thursday and Friday November 17/18 in the Fellowship Hall.

On those mornings at 9 am in the Worship Center during All School Devotions, parents are invited to attend a special presentation by Siouxsan & Charles Robinson from the non-profit ministry “The Red Road” about the life of a Native American child – their food, dance, and culture. For more information about this ministry, parents can visit www.theredroad.org.

Students will come to enjoy the feast dressed as a Pilgrim or Wampanoag Native American. Parents please sign up to bring food items for the feast. Those items can be dropped off in the Fellowship Hall the day of the feast. Don’t forget to use disposable dishes and please do not add nuts to the dishes. For more information please see your child’s teacher’s letter.

*Feast Volunteers are needed! To volunteer to help decorate or serve, please contact the Thanksgiving Feast chairperson, Toshia McKinney – toshiamckinney@gmail.com .

In the interest of Security, the MSP doors will no longer automatically unlock in the mornings or afternoons. Please wait for a staff member to open the doors for your entry or exit at drop off or pick up.

MSP will be closed for the week of Thanksgiving, from Tuesday- Friday November 22 – 25.

Please mark your calendars for the MSP Christmas Program, “All for Love” coming Tues/Wed Dec. 13/14 at 6:30 pm in the CCC Worship Center. Lynelle McDonald, our Music Teacher, is teaching students the new songs. If your child comes home singing “Alleluia!” – or “Howl-le-luia” as one 4-year-old put it – now you know why!

Grace & Peace,

Kristin Henke Director, Mustard Seed Preschool
