Student Ages
We serve children between the ages of 3 and 5. To be eligible for admission, students must be at least 3 years old by October 1st.
School Hours
Our day starts at 9:15 AM and concludes at 1:15 PM. AfterCare is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 2:45 PM for an additional fee.
Class Size
Each classroom includes 10 to 12 students and two teachers. This low student-to-teacher ratio enables us to address the individual needs of each child, providing a safe space for learning and play with personalized, one-on-one attention.
Biblical Worldview
As a Christian school, all of our teaching is viewed through the lens of Scripture. Children are taught that God is the source of all truth and that His Word, the Bible, is true. Each day begins with Devotions, where children learn the Westminster Shorter Catechism through sign language and song.
Classical Curriculum
Classical education is based on the idea that children learn in stages. Preschoolers are in the first stage, where they begin learning the foundational building blocks for all subjects. At this stage, children absorb information easily through memorization, songs, and rhymes. We provide a structured program that introduces these essential foundations across subjects. Our curriculum is interactive and developmentally appropriate, offering children a wide range of engaging learning experiences.
Grace-Based
Since its founding in 2004, MSP has embraced these 14 principles which shape our understanding of a child’s nature, their Relationship with God, Parents, and Teachers, How they learn, and the Goal of Preparing a Child for Life.
Specials Classes
Each week, students participate in Art, Music, and Spanish classes. These subjects are led by dedicated teachers who are both experienced and passionate about their areas of expertise.
Safety and Security
The safety of our students is a top priority. We have a full-time armed security guard on staff, and our classrooms are located in a secure wing of the building that remains locked during the day. All visitors must be “buzzed in” by office staff through our secure video lock system. Additionally, we use the Brightwheel app to manage a safe and efficient check-in and check-out process for dismissal.
Kindergarten Readiness
All of our PreK classes for 4- and 5-year-olds are designed to prepare children for Kindergarten. We follow a structured schedule that includes individual play, group activities, and one-on-one learning. Students leave Mustard Seed well-prepared for the next step in their educational journey.
