Tues/Thurs

Tina Hicks & Julie Kesler

My name is Tina Hicks and I have been married to my husband Brian for 28 years. We have three sons ages 24, 19 and 16. My degree is in Early Childhood Education. God put a love of children in my heart at an early age, and I have been serving Him by working with preschoolers, on and off, for over 30 years. I joined the MSP staff two years ago as an assistant, and quickly learned what a special place this is. I am so excited to be a lead teacher again in 3’s this year.

Tues/Thurs

Beth Lindberg & Amy Hudson

My name is Beth Lindberg and I am in my 17th year of teaching 3’s at Mustard Seed. I have been married to my husband Byron for 25 years. I have a daughter, Alyce, who is 21 and a son, C.J., who is almost 19 (and a 10 lb. dog named Maisy who we consider to be a member of the family). We have lived in Spring Hill, TN for 20 years now, but I grew up in Franklin! I love teaching 3 year-olds! Some people think I am crazy, but I believe that teaching is my calling from God. I truly believe the verse that says: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14. I am so excited to meet your children and get to learn with them.

My name is Amy Hudson. I joined Mustard Preschool last year as an assistant last year and am so happy to be back! My husband, Danny, our two boys Oliver (4) and James (1 in December), and I have lived in Franklin for almost 2 years. We love the community and the focus on God that we have found here. We truly feel so blessed to have been led to Christ Community church and Mustard Seed. I have a business background but I love working and learning with children so I am back in school, working on getting my Masters for Elementary Education.  When I have free time I love to explore trails and national parks and spend time with animals.

Tues/Thurs

Dawn Duffett & Michelle Hancock

My name is Dawn Duffett and I am a Franklin native and I have been married to John for 29 years. We have 3 children; Hannah 25, Andrew 22, and Ellie 18. I have attended Christ Community Church for 30 years and this is my 16th year at Mustard Seed. I love being with children and feel this is what God has called me to do. It is a true joy to be here, I love this school and I am very excited about the opportunity to love and teach your children this year.

My name is Michelle, this is my 11th year as a teacher. I grew up in California, but my family has called Tennessee home for 26 years. My husband and I have two children, my daughter, a freshman in college, and a son who is a sophomore. I love being with the children because they are so open to learning. When not at Mustard Seed, my family loves camping (we’ve been out west twice), watching my kids play soccer, and getting together with friends.

Beth Lindberg and Sarah Bowman

My name is Beth Lindberg and I am in my 17th year of teaching 3’s at Mustard Seed. I have been married to my husband Byron for 25 years. I have a daughter, Alyce, who is 21 and a son, C.J., who is almost 19 (and a 10 lb. dog named Maisy who we consider to be a member of the family). I am so excited to meet your children and get to learn with them.

My name is Sarah Bowman and I have lived in Franklin since 2012. From 2013-2015, I served as assistant professor of music at Tennessee State University, where I directed two choirs and taught applied voice lessons, music appreciation, and vocal techniques for instrumental music education majors. I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in Choral/Vocal Music Education, and a Masters of Music Performance in Choral Conducting from Ithaca College. After having my first child in 2015, I became a stay-at-home-mom, teaching private voice lessons on the side. With my husband, Peter, we have three children. I enjoy reading, exercising, cooking, and listening to podcasts on everything ranging from comedy, longevity and performance, mental resilience, medical research, to anything else that seems interesting in the moment. I love preschool-age children, especially reading to them and teaching them songs, and am thrilled to be joining the Mustard Seed Family as 3’s Assistant!
