Tues/Thurs

Laura Coughlin & Jodi Ebert

My name is Laura Coughlin and I am beginning my 4th year at Mustard Seed Preschool. I have been a floater and an assistant and am thrilled to be leading a class for the first time. My husband, Kent, and I have been married 25 years and have 2 boys – Robert (21) works full time here in Franklin and Cooper (14) is a freshman at Franklin High School – and 2 rescue dogs, Wrigley and Ivy. We have lived in Franklin for 11 years and are members at Cornerstone Presbyterian in downtown Franklin. In addition to working at Mustard Seed, I substitute teach in the Williamson County School system and do contract work with Fleet Feet’s training coordinator. When I get some free time, I enjoy exercising (running/walking and yoga), reading, sewing, traveling (especially to Disney) and having coffee with friends.

My name is Jodi Ebert. My husband and I have been married 24 years. We have 4 children who all attended Mustard Seed Preschool but are growing up. (Soria-16, Carson-14, Luke-12 and Lyla-10, and a puppy named Mocha). Jon works at Vanderbilt and I have an Early Childhood and Elementary teaching degree. I taught Kindergarten and First grade for 8 years before having children. In the last few years I have been subbing in WCS and I absolutely love working with the littles! I am blessed to be working at MSP this year!

Tues/Thurs

Beth Lindberg & Tina Hicks

My name is Beth Lindberg and I am in my 16th year of teaching 3’s at Mustard Seed. I have been married to my husband Byron for 24 years. I have a daughter, Alyce, who is 20 and a son, C.J., who is almost 18 (and a 10 lb. dog named Maisy who we consider to be a member of the family). We have lived in Spring Hill, TN for 19 years now, but I grew up in Franklin! I love teaching 3 year-olds! Some people think I am crazy, but I believe that teaching is my calling from God. I truly believe the verse that says: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14. I am so excited to meet your children and get to learn with them.

My name is Tina Hicks and I have been married to my husband Brian for 27 years. We have three sons ages 23, 18 and 15. My degree is in Early Childhood Education. God put a love of children in my heart at an early age, and I have been serving Him by working with preschoolers, on and off, for over 30 years. I joined the MSP staff last year as an assistant, and quickly learned what a special place this is.

Tues/Thurs

Dawn Duffett & Michelle Hancock

My name is Dawn Duffett and I am a Franklin native and a member of Christ Community Church for 29 years. I love everything about MSP, from the devotions in the mornings, to the rich curriculum and the warm community that is nourished between staff and families. This is a special place and I love being a part of what I feel God has called me to do.

My name is Michelle, this is my 10th year as a teacher. I grew up in California, but my family has called Tennessee home for 25 years. My husband and I have two children, my daughter, a senior in high school, and a son who is a freshman. I love being with the children because they are so open to learning. When not at Mustard Seed, my family loves camping (we’ve been out west twice), watching my kids play soccer, and getting together with friends.

Wed/Fri

Tina Hicks & Sarah Elliott

My name is Tina Hicks and I have been married to my husband Brian for 27 years. We have three sons ages 23, 18 and 15. My degree is in Early Childhood Education. God put a love of children in my heart at an early age, and I have been serving Him by working with preschoolers, on and off, for over 30 years. I joined the MSP staff last year as an assistant, and quickly learned what a special place this is. I am so excited to be a lead teacher in 3’s this year.

My name is Sarah Elliott and this is my second year on staff at Mustard Seed Preschool. My husband, Jason and I have been married for 19 years. We have three wonderful children; Hannah (16) and AJ (14), both at Franklin High School, and Evie (6), who graduated from Mustard Seed Preschool last year and is heading off to Kindergarten! My family moved here from San Diego, California, where I taught preschool at Horizon Christian Fellowship. I studied Psychology and Early Childhood Education at the University of California, Riverside. When I am not loving on sweet kiddos in the classroom, you can usually find me cheering on my kids at their many sporting events, playing tennis, kayaking, or just having fun with family and friends! It is an honor to be apart of the Mustard Seed Family and serve alongside such an amazing and loving group of women. I am excited to see all God is going to do this year! I am praying for each child to grow academically, as they develop a life long love of learning, and for each child to grow spiritually, as they learn more about God’s grace and love!
